Princes list
Phones that I "Prince" loves, usually for no good reason
Asus Zenfone 9
This phone has so many green flags. It's small, it has a corner front camera, it has decent back cameras, and it's pretty fast.
Huawei Mate XT Ultimate
I would buy this phone and not use it. I respect it too much to use it or let anyone else use it. I would just like touch it and clean it.
vivo X300 Pro
This is a super phone all round and it looks pretty nice, but that camera kit is what makes it special.
Apple iPhone 13 mini
It's so tiny, I love it. This would be a dream phone if the cameras didn't look like gas cookers, and it had a bigger battery.
LG V60 ThinQ 5G
The last one, the most powerful one, the one with the second screen, my close personal friend. Of course this is on my list.
LG Wing 5G
I still don't see how this is a useful feature, but it definitely is cool. I want one.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha
I only saw these in reviews, not sure it ever got released, it probably falls once and becomes useless.... I want it.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2
A different type of foldable, its not fighting the hinge like samsung and I like that. I like the premium digital diary look.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold
The more boring of the two trifolds, but this one runs standard Android.
Huawei Pura X
A folding phone shaped more like a tiny tablet than a tall remote, very unique.... I want it.
BlackBerry KEY2
I never owned a BlackBerry, but for the sake of that era, for the sake of Bold 5 Babes, I must have one.
LG V20
This was my first LG phone; people kept throwing these around in the reviews. In the end, the headphone jack was my favourite part.
Nothing Phone (1)
Nothing made the back part of the interface. Glyph lights are gimmicky until you use them as silent alerts.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra
This has the same main sensor as the 13 Ultra that came after, but I think I prefer this design, as weird as it is.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
The big camera bump was the point: a huge main sensor, periscope zoom, and a tiny rear screen for selfies.
Nokia 9 PureView
Five rear cameras tried to brute-force depth and detail before phone photography settled down. A flawed classic.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro
The compact Pro before Apple went bigger: titanium, USB-C, A17 Pro, and a real telephoto in a 6.1-inch body.
Samsung Galaxy S10e
The cutest, bestest flagship there ever was. In my opinion, this is peak phone design.
Asus Zenfone 7
The back camera flips to the front + no hole on the front screen = Very good selfies and a beautiful screen.
vivo NEX Dual Display
There is a screen and a cute face on the back ... I want it.
Motorola Razr 70 Ultra
This is a placeholder for what will one day be my favourite flip phone. Current ones are a bit too chunky and breakable for my taste.
ZTE Axon 7
Looks like someone wanted a tankier HTC. But I heard these also had good sound out of the speakers and headphone jack.
LG G8 ThinQ
Palm unlock and Air Motion were strange, but the OLED speaker and Quad DAC kept LG's weird-hardware streak alive.
vivo Xplay6
A Hi-Fi-era vivo: curved AMOLED, dedicated audio hardware, and a camera setup from before every phone looked the same.
OnePlus 6T McLaren
The orange McLaren trim was the headline, but 10GB RAM and Warp Charge 30 made it the nerd OnePlus.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer
Transparent-back Xiaomi with 3D face unlock and early in-display fingerprinting. More showcase piece than daily driver.
LG G4
I have watched more LG phone reviews than educational content at this point, and it all started with this curvy old lady.
LG G5
Modular bottom, removable battery, and an ultra-wide camera before ultrawide became standard.
Motorola Moto Z Force
ShatterShield and Moto Mods made it a modular tank. Check the battery age before falling for the idea.
Apple iPhone 5s
Touch ID and the first 64-bit phone chip made this tiny iPhone a landmark, not just an old small phone. It's also my favourite-looking iPhone.
Nothing CMF Phone 1
The budget phone with screws and accessories on purpose. The style is fun, but the removable back is the real hook.
Apple iPhone 16e
Apple's plain practical one: A18 and long support without Pro pricing, but still a single-camera iPhone.
Apple iPhone Air
Apple's thinnest phone yet, and a better-looking camera bump than the pro phones.
ZTE nubia RedMagic 11 Pro
If you want a unique-looking phone with a ton of gimmicks, then a gaming phone is your best bet. It's like a riced-up Galaxy Ultra.
Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra
Flagship chip, huge battery, fast charging, and big stereo hardware without pretending to be a luxury phone.
Xiaomi 17 Pro Max
Xiaomi did the back screen thing again. If you're going to put a weird, large rectangular bump on the back of your phone, at least put a screen on it.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro
I have one of these phones around, full screen, no holes and its so fast, even today this thing does not lag. It does get hot, the battery sucks and the cameras are mid.... but I still want another one.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2
A gaming phone from the era when the back had to look like it was loading a boss fight. Snapdragon 855, pressure touch, no apologies.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G
The back slides up to reveal the front cameras. Charming, heavy, and a reminder that clean screens used to require moving parts.
Sony Xperia 5 III
For people who want Sony's camera brain without a tablet-sized phone. Narrow body, headphone jack, microSD, and real camera controls.
Google Pixel 8a
I think this is the cutest roundest pixel.
Huawei P10
I need this camera setup back; it's so sleek, and the subtle Huawei branding in the middle is excellent too.
Xiaomi Mi 6
What a pretty phone, oh my God.
HTC 10
Mmmm HTC, such a beautiful phone, all metal design and fits in one hand. It's really sad HTC no longer makes phones like this.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra
I want to test these Xiaomi phones so bad, look at that massive camera sensor. How does it compare to more modern phones? And that design, wow.
HP Elite x3
Made by HP, running Windows 10, can be docked to a monitor and that black/silver finish...I want it.
Huawei P20 Pro
Let me circle back but I'm pretty sure this is a special phone. I also like how it looks compared to the P30 that came after.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro
This is a very beautiful phone. Full screen, no camera bump, it just looks rich, and that Huawei blue color mwah.
Razer Phone 2
I forget what Razer put in these phones, but they were pretty special, and Razer made only two of them.
Vertu Signature Touch
What an interesting looking phone. Is that the skin of some animal?
ZTE nubia Z11
This is the generation of Nubia I fell in love with. That thing looks like money.
OnePlus 2
I could've picked anything from the OnePlus 1 to the OnePlus 8, but this is the first in my DB of a line of excellently simple devices.
Nokia N900
This old lady can run Linux BTW ... drops Mic.
Motorola DROID 4 XT894
Also runs Linux. If it runs Linux, its on my list.
Nokia 3310
This might be the first phone I ever laid eyes on. If I search well, it might still be in the family house, outlasting us all. And that space game was epic.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active
Tanky Galaxy, yes please.
Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom
Samsung, come on, make another one.
LG V10
Only LG can make a phone look rugged and luxurious. This was the first in the V series, the first to have a dedicated DAC, the first to have the second screen.
Samsung Galaxy Folder2
There are a few of these old Samsung flip phones running Android. I love all of them.
Huawei Pura 80 Ultra
Might just be the best phone camera in the world right now based on those DXOMARK scores.
Motorola Signature
This phone looks stunning. The T1 looks at itself in the mirror, wishing it was this phone. It has flagship cameras, a big battery, fast charging, and an almost bezelless display.
